Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of S&T Sphere (BelISA) is planning an ICT workshop in order to identify topics of mutual EECA – EU interest. A draft agenda of this workshop and the participation form are available now.
Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of S&T Sphere (BelISA) in the context of the ‘IncoNet EECA’ project is planning to organize a Workshop in the Thematic Priority of FP7 “Information and Communication Technologies” in order to identify topics of mutual EECA – EU interest that could be included in the Calls of FP7. The Workshop is scheduled to take place in Minsk on 17-18 May 2010.
BelISA would therefore appreciate proposals for experts from EECA countries that could attend this Workshop. These experts should have significant experience in the field of ICT and more specifically in Nanoelectronics Technology and/or Photonics. In addition they should be fluent in English. Previous experience in International Cooperation projects with EU Member States would be considered as an important additional element for their selection, which will be finalized in agreement with the European Commission services.
BelISA will cover the travel and accommodation expenses for the experts that will attend the workshop.
This workshop constitutes an important opportunity for the EECA region to put forward its own priorities for joint activities with the EU, in the context of FP7. Therefore, BelISA kindly asks IncoNet EECA members to propose by 9 April 2010 up to three experts from their country for the Workshop using the attached form with a short profile of each.
The Workshop will be followed up by the ICT Networking Event within SCUBE-ICT project, http://www.scube-ict.eu to be organized by BelISA the day after, 19 May 2010. EU participants of the Workshop are invited to take part in the ICT Networking Event. This will give them the additional opportunity to extend their collaboration with Belarus within the ICT Programme of the FP7. The further information will be available soon.
